Philip Howard makes an exklusive guest appearance at The Winery Hotel

On the 1st and 2nd of May, The Winery Hotel welcomes one of Britain’s most renowned chefs for an exclusive guest appearance at restaurant Terreno Kitchen.

This spring, Sweden will have the honour of hosting Philip Howard, head chef at Elystan Street in London. On the 1st and 2nd of May, he will step into the kitchen at restaurant Terreno Kitchen, The Winery Hotel in Solna. Over two evenings, a limited six-course tasting menu will be served, blending the vibrant flavours of London’s culinary scene with seasonal Nordic ingredients, perfectly paired with artisanal wines. A unique opportunity to enjoy Howard’s renowned cooking in a Swedish setting.

Philip Howard is one of Britain’s most respected chefs. After 25 years as head chef at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant The Square in London, he opened Elystan Street in 2016. Within just a year, it was awarded a Michelin star. In addition to Elystan Street, Howard co-owns several other acclaimed restaurants in London.

“Philip was my head chef at The Square over 20 years ago, and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. I’ve always been deeply impressed by his clean, focused palates and his ability to transform simple ingredients into a flavour sensation. I’m really looking forward to seeing Philip work with seasonal Swedish ingredients and to creating unforgettable taste combinations and atmosphere together at Terreno Kitchen,” says Johan Styffe, head chef at The Winery Hotel.

At Terreno Kitchen restaurant, exceptional craftsmanship in both food and wine comes together. Here, flavour experiences are created in perfect harmony – best enjoyed in the company of good friends.

“I’m really excited to reunite with Johan and create two memorable evenings with him and his team at The Winery Hotel. I am also looking forward to exploring Sweden’s vibrant culinary scene, which I know is of a very high standard,” says Philip Howard, head chef at Elystan Street.

The evening’s tasting menu consists of six courses with wine pairings carefully selected by The Winery Hotel’s head sommelier, John Sterner, and is priced at 2850 SEK. Seats are limited and can be booked via The Winery Hotel’s website, starting December 4.
